Animals

Any1 looking for a pet?

We found a kitten in our garden the other night...and since we have a dog (who gets very very jealous and doesn't like cats very much), we're looking for someone to take in the kitten!

He's very cute (as you can see haha), quiet, good natured and likes to play with strings. We've already brought him to the vet so he's had his jabs. Any1 know any1 who wants a kitten??? Please let me know!!

Also looking for a family is Spartacus:
KL Pooch Rescue helped us rescue Spartacus from Damansara Uptown area and he's looking for a family~
Please contact them at klpoochrescue@gmail.com or contact Shannon at 016-2511 486.

They're having an adoption drive this Saturday:
If you know anyone who wants a pet, please let them know! Spread the word!! The dogs/pups really need foster homes and klpr can't keep so many dogs.

KLPR is also on facebook here. Check them out! Donate to them~ They're doing a lot of good helping out the dogs in Malaysia and I really admire their work.

Sungai Lembing

If you search things to do in Kuantan, Sg Lembing will pop up.

I never knew that it was a tourist attraction...

Apparently the tofu at one of the stalls is really famous. Gotta say it was really smooth and yums.

There's also a local mee. Can't say I really liked it that much though. Abit too sweet for me.

There's nothing much to do or see there, and apparently there's only 1 restaurant open for dinner!hahaha...Did manage to find a spot I wanted to take pictures at though

We went on the rainbow waterfall tour. We had to leave at 5, have breakfast, then take a 4WD ride into the forest, hiked for an hour and finally got to the waterfall. The hiking wasn't so difficult but there were wayyyy too many people. All Chinese. And majority of them Mandarin speaking. I'm fine with that but a bunch of them seem to think that normal speaking volume = shouting volume, which really pissed me off. I didn't come into the forest to be in a 'Chinese market place'. It was really annoying.

These aren't even half of the people who went. By the time we got to the waterfall, there was no place to move or walk around! Everyone was sitting around talking (most of them really loudly as if they were afraid no one else could hear them -.-) and lots were eating instant noodles there (which I do not condone because somehow or another some waste gets left behind)

Apparently there's always a rainbow so you'll never miss it
I won't say the trip was bad. Unfortunately, the crowd was too big and really annoying because they were sooooo noisy. Even the 'resort' we stayed at, the people kept walking, shuffling, running up and down the corridors shouting at the top of their voices.Even late at night or super early in the morning (5am). Seriously?? Go back to the market where you belong!!

I think it's much less crowded during the weekday so if I ever do go back, I'll make sure I don't go back over the weekend.
